06/16/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion celebrated a season of hard work and fun at Rosebud's Pizza and More after the game in Cameron on Saturday. While pizza and sodas filled their bellies, their laughter and smiles filled the room. They were a success this year because they played and had fun. A very special thank you to our sponsers Pat and Pam Stermer of A & R Cattle for providing the pizza and backing the team! We appreciate y'all!!


06/16/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion played their final game Saturday against the Cameron Destruction and, though the scoreboard didnt reflect it, the girls played a terrific game. They have come a long way since first taking the field. They showed a lot of heart and several awesome plays. Great Job girls! We are proud of you!

06/04/2012: Another terrific effort tonight by the Rosebud Xplosion in Westphalia against the Dynamite! Lots of good defense and some nice swings at the plate. But in the end, the Westphalia Dynamite pulled out a victory. Thanks to all the fans who journeyed over to Westphalia to support the team!

05/31/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion took the field tonight against the Cameron Venom and it was an offensive battle! The score went back and forth thru three innings but in the end, the visiting Venom edged out the Xplosion 18-15. Great game girls! They were in it the whole game and fought hard, played well, and improved greatly. Thanks to the fans who came out to see the girls play one of the best games so far!

05/17/2012: Coach Mike Rasmussen, Denise Tepe, and Rodger Duke worked the concession stand late into the night on Thursday serving Sno-cones, Frito pies, Nachos, and lots of Gatorade! Stop by the concession stand on your next trip to the field and support the league!

05/16/2012: The Xplosion faced a very good Cameron Destruction team tonight at Burns Field in Rosebud. There were a lot of good plays on offense and defense, but the Xplosion came up short this evening. Keep your heads up girls, y'all are doing great and making improvements with each game! We will face the Destruction again and we will be ready for them! Thanks once again to all the fans who continue to cheer on the Xplosion!

05/14/2012: The Rosbud Xplosion ventured to Rogers tonight to face the Texas Flames for the second time in 5 days. It was a well-fought game but the Xplosion fell short one run. The girls are playing excellent and improving with each outing. We are so proud of them and the hard work they are putting forth! Thanks to the fans who made the drive to support the team!!

05/10/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion hosted the Rogers Texas Flames this evening at Burns Field and despite an impending storm, the fans were treated to an excellent game. The weather got cooler but the excitment on the field heated up. Despite a great showing by the Xplosion, the Texas Flames came out on top of this four-inning battle. The girls played great and improvement is being made with each game. Thanks to all the fans who showed up and cheered on the Xplosion!

05/07/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion raced to Cameron to beat the impending storm tonight,but most of the lightning was at the plate. The girls whipped up an offensive fury led by #88 Emily Tepe and her two home runs! The game ended up being called due to lightning with The Xplosion and Crush tied in a 13-all battle. The coaches are discussing the possibility of finishing the game at a later date. When I get word of time/place, I will pass it along! Great Job girls!! Y'all are doing excellent! Thanks again to everyone who braved the elements to support the Xplosion!

05/03/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion journeyed down to Cameron to meet the Cameron Venom under the lights tonight and kept it very close with excellent hitting and good fielding, but they could not overcome poor umpiring and bad calls in favor of the home team. Keep your heads up girls, y'all are doing great! Thanks to all the fans who showed up to support the Xplosion!

04/23/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion played a great game tonight but came up short against a very good Cameron Crush team. The team is heading in the right direction and I see great things in store for them! They are having fun and making good plays in the field and at the plate. Thanks again to everyone who showed up to cheer on the girls!!

04/14/2012: The Rosebud Xplosion met the Westphalia Dynamite at Burns Field on opening day April 14th and despite what the scoreboard read, the Xplosion played a great game and fought hard Saturday. Everyone is very proud of our girls and the effort they put forth Saturday. There were quite a few terrific hits and many outstanding plays in the field, and it's only going to get better! Thanks to all the parents and fans who came out to support the team!!
